Good, bad, or ugly, I call them like I see them.]We have some over the counter lighting that recently went out and I replaced the old bulbs with LED bulbs. That was a mistake. The LED bulbs were not as wide-reaching and have that icky fall-off pattern that LEDs sometimes have. So I jumped at the chance to try out an "LED rope" like this one, and I'm so glad I did. The color is warmer, the light is more spread, it just FEELS better.Pros:Warm light at 2800k is a very soothing color temp.The white diffuser layer really helps even out the light and make it behave more like incandescent bulbs.Flexible installation.Small profile.Bright. Sometimes lights on the lower color temperature side seem dim. These are not dim.Cons:No switch. Better wire that outlet to be on a switch because these are ON as soon as you plug them in.No sharp corners, lest you kink the circuitry.Can be a bit twisty. Rubbery channel can be difficult to keep oriented the way you want.No daisy-chaining. There's no socket on the end, so you can't daisy-chain them like Christmas lights.Verdit:Strongly recommend. Just beautiful.
