The COB strip is around 10W/m, so for 5m (16.4FT) LED strip, it needs a 50W power supply. The power supply can be bigger (60W, 100W, 200W are all ok), but can't be smaller, if the power supp is too small, the led strip will flash during working. 2. Since there's voltage drop of the led strip, the real working power is much less than theoretical value. So it's ok that the power supply is a little smaller than the counted value. 3. Recommended power supply: 12V 16.4FT => 12V 5A adapter (or 12V 60W transformer) 24V 16.4FT => 24V 3A adapter (or 24V 60W transformer) Package Included 1x 16.4FT COB LED strip (power supply is NOT included)1x DC connector (for connecting plug power supply) Installation Diagram Important Tips The COB LED strip CAN NOT be connected to AC110V directly, must add a DC 12V/24V power supply.The AC/DC transformer (power supply) is NOT included.The COB strip is dimmable, but need to add a suitable dimmer. Dimmer is NOT included.The actual power of the COB strip will be affected by the voltage drop. For example, the real using power of 16FT 480LEDs /m is 40W, not 11W/mx5m= 55W (theoretical value). The calculation method of 55W is wrong, and the voltage drop should be actually considered.Please make sure the installing surface is clean + dry + smooth, or the COB strip cannot be pasted stably.There will be Voltage Drop (the head of the led strip is brighter than the end) if the COB strip is too long. If you want to extend the COB strip to longer length (like 32.8FT or more), need to supply power to both of the head and end of led strip independently.
