I use this for lighting in the top of a tool box. For being janky looking and seeming made of inferior parts and quality it works well. It survives brutal cold winters and roasting hot summers in the garage.It is easy to put but somehow I couldn’t find a way to connect the other strip to make a continuation so had to buy another plug to put it in another room.I tried one and it worked like expected. Second one arrived defective but Amazon customer service replaced it.Lights went up easy, app didn't work and power cord didn't work right. Had toborder a different power cord from a different company. But lights work and are very bright.The remote interferes with other LED devices.. I have 2 Fluval LED spot lights in my tank and it messed up one of the lights that I spent 3 times as much then what I did for this piece of junk. Not only did the item not work, now I have a spot light that keeps on flashing because of it. Never will order agian or reccomend to anyone....I’ve only had this product maybe 2 weeks and so far they work okay however the first night I woke up to the lights flashing in the middle of the night. Next night was sitting in bed and the lights were changing all on their own. I do own a multitude of photos of very dead people so it’s possible I have ghosts however I’ve come to discover my Roku tv remote actually also controls this box and when I try to change shows the lights also change.Lights are great but Powe supply and controller are not waterproof for out side, keep extras on hand due to failures when wet. Swap out and let dry.Came on time and is good but we had a missing part the school cable which was the important part. Easy to use
