This LED strip is pretty bright with nice colors.I was a little disappointed to learn that not all 540 LEDs are directly addressable in the strip.It's not until you read the fine print that you discover it: "You can control each LED Pixel(6Led per pixel) and set it to any color or animation you want."So each addressable "pixel" is 6 LEDs. This means there are 90 addressable sections in the 5M strip. Each 6-LED "pixel" is about 2" long.It's still a pretty nice strip for light displays, but if you expect nice smooth gradients across the whole strip, you'll be disappointed.These lights are bright for there size, easy to work with. But beware the mounting hardware flat out doesn’t work. Clip is way to small for the light itself and if you work to open it the plastic is so brittle it breaks!NOTE: WS2811 IS NOT THE SAME AS WS2812b and if you link the two without powering them seperately, the latter will likely be fried by the 12 volts, as it only uses 5. (WS2811s supposedly exist in 5v, but I have yet to see any) These can co-exist with a ws2812b chain IF you look up how to wire them correctly, and keep in mind that one ws2812b "address" will actually be sections of 3 LEDs on the WS2811 strip (neat, and makes it able to run farther!)My only gripe with these is the same as any other WS2811s that I have tried in my setup: the green and red values are reversed, so when all my other (ws2812b) LEDs are green, these are red and vice versa. Probably not an issue on a WS2811-only setup, and only mildly annoying in my case. Still a great value!The sole reason I bought these is because of the 108 watt specified output which would have been 9amps. Needed dense, bright leds. Upon arriving, the package said 60 watts. Thats only 5 amps for the whole strip. For 108 leds/m that's weak. The btf 60/m I bought along with these is rated 7amps in only 2 meters. The 2 meters of btf I cut is far brighter than this entire strip.After researching this, seeing it uses 3838 led chips, at 108/m, the data sheet shows 12w/m, which does equate to 60w total. However, idk where they got 22w/m unless they are pretending this is a 240led/m strip. And it is not because you can clearly see the space between the led chips when it is on.Not as bright as I expected but preformed well. Plenty flexible for the project.Narrow white stripe is dark. This will only light up through the wide white stripe. Disassembled and flipped the leds, but then only the narrow strip lights and not the wide stripe. This product can only light one side.Looks like real neon. extremely well done.putt 20 strands in a Prevost bus. looks stupid awesome!
