these lights are outstanding! no pinpoint lights; they have a smooth continuous color and the cord does not heat up making you nervous that it is going to burn out. They are a little pricey but I am confident that they are going to be worth the investment and I am not going to have to replace them every year. I am now looking to buy a large set to go all around the perimeter of my boat. I will update with a photo once that is done.
